Guyuan Town, which belongs to Songling District of Greater Khingan Range District in Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of Songling District, the right bank of the upper reaches of the daukuru River, the East and the South Weng River Forestry Bureau, the south is connected with the small town of Yang Qi, the west is adjacent to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the north is connected with the Jinsong town. In 1965, Guyuan forest farm was built, belonging to Songling district. In April 1987, Guyuan township was established. In March 1991, Guyuan town was changed. In February 2001, dayangqi town was incorporated. As of October 2019, Guyuan town has jurisdiction over the first community and the second community.
In 2018, Guyuan town has four comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
