Guangrong Township, belonging to Mingshui County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Mingshui County, the West Bank of Tongken River and the south of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. It is adjacent to Lianfa township of hailun County in the East, Shuren Township in the south, Fanrong Township in the West and Sandao town of Baiquan County in the north. It is 38 kilometers away from Mingshui County, with a total administrative area of 125.86 square kilometers.
In 1900, Cao Fulu came to Guangrong township to build wasteland. In 1984, Guangrong commune was changed into Guangrong township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in glorious township was 18059. In 2019, Guangrong rural governs seven administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Liming Village.

History of construction
In 1900, Cao Fulu came to Guangrong township to build wasteland. In 1906, it was under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County.
In December 1923, the Mingshui Administration Bureau was set up under the jurisdiction of Dongxiang. In 1929, it was changed into the Second District of Mingshui county. In 1938, Peixing village was established. In 1940, Meichun village was changed. In February 1946, it belonged to the fourth district.
In 1949, it was an ancient city.
