Historical review

Red frontier farm is named because it is located in the northern frontier of the motherland. In 1949, Huihui county established Xianying farm, formerly known as "dawujiazi farm". In 1953, it was changed into Heihe machinery farm. In 1957, it was taken over by Heilongjiang Provincial State Farm Management Department and changed into red frontier farm. In 1963, it was under the jurisdiction of Heihe Agricultural Reclamation Bureau. In June 1968, the Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps was established as the third regiment of the first division. In February 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished and the farm system was restored. It was still called the red frontier farm and was subordinate to the Beian farm Administration Bureau. At the end of 1992, the total population was more than 13000. The red frontier farm is located in the northeast of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, on the right bank of Heilongjiang Province. The total land area is 1176000 mu, including 256000 mu of cultivated land. The red frontier farm covers a total area of 607393 mu, with 255297 mu of cultivated land, 3 farms and 28 production companies.
