Xixing Township

Xixing Township, belonging to Sunwu County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle of Sunwu County, adjacent to Sunwu town in the East, Chenqing town in the south, zhengyangshan Township in the West and woniuhe Township in the north. Historical evolution

In September 1976, six production teams in Xixing, Xinan, Xingnan, Yongjin, Pingdu and xidiyingzi of xixingbei commune set up Xinxing reclamation area, and some of Xixing production teams set up Shanling (formerly called Xingling) production team, adding four teams in Xigang, Xinfeng and Yongfeng.

In 1977, Xinxing commune was established.

In 1981, it was renamed Xixing commune.

In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

Sunwu County chuangguandong Memorial Hall

Sunwu chuangguandong memorial hall is located in Pingdu village, Xixing Township, formerly known as Pingdu village history hall. Pingdu village history museum was founded in 1989. It is located in a thatched roof and adobe house. In 2010, Sunwu County invested 1.4 million yuan to build a new Pingdu village history museum with an area of 800 square meters and an exhibition area of 154 square meters. On July 2, 2011, xinpingdu village history museum reopened. In 2013, with the approval of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of culture, Pingdu village history museum was renamed Sunwu County chuangguandong Memorial.
