Haijiang town

Hai Jiang Town, a city of Nenjiang, Heihe, Heilongjiang, is located in the west of Nenjiang City, east of the town, and adjacent to the town of Chang Fu. The west is linked to Nenjiang Town, and north is at the junction of Lianxing township. In 2018, the area was 546.41 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 40353.

In February 1933, it belonged to three districts of Nenjiang County. In May 1955, it was renamed central district. In May 1984, the commune was changed into a township. Haijiang commune was divided into Haijiang and Xinsheng townships. In April 1985, the township was transformed into a town. In 2001, Xinsheng township was incorporated. As of October 2019, Haijiang town has 16 administrative villages.

In 2018, Haijiang town had 3 industrial enterprises and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In February 1933, it belonged to three districts of Nenjiang County.

In March 1946, it belonged to four districts of Nenjiang County.

In May 1955, it was renamed central district.

In March 1956, Haijiang township was established.

In September 1958, Haijiang, Lianxing and Jianshe townships were merged into Fengmin commune.

In January 1959, it was renamed Haijiang commune.

In 1962, Lianxing commune was established.

In May 1984, the commune was changed into a township. Haijiang commune was divided into Haijiang and Xinsheng townships.

In April 1985, the township was transformed into a town.

In 2001, Xinsheng township was incorporated.
