Zhaoyuan Town, a Zhaoyuan County in Daqing, Heilongjiang, is a resident of the county people's government. It is located in the central part of Zhaoyuan County, and is adjacent to the two towns in the East. It borders Songhua River on the South and looks across the river from Songyuan city in Jilin province. The border between West and guqia town is north and border with Heping township. In 2018, the area was 215.89 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 23327.

Because the county people's government is located in the area under its jurisdiction, Chengguan town is named Zhaoyuan town. In 1906, Zhaozhou hall was set up. In 1913, it belonged to Zhaozhou county. In August 1980, the commune was transformed into a town. In July 2001, Xing'an township was incorporated. As of October 2019, Zhaoyuan town has 11 communities and 10 administrative villages.
