Qiqihar breeding stock farm in Heilongjiang Province was founded in 1953. It is a unit owned by the whole people under the county regiment level system. It was once subordinate to the Provincial Department of agriculture, the Department of agricultural reclamation, Qiqihar City, and the Provincial Bureau of animal husbandry. On January 1, 2007, it was under the management of Qiqihar Branch of the Provincial Bureau of agricultural reclamation.

Basic information

The site is located in Tiefeng District of Qiqihar City, adjacent to Fuyu County in the north, Lindian County in the East, Zhalong Nature Reserve in the South and central urban area in the West. It covers a total area of 316000 mu, including 64400 mu of cultivated land, 16600 mu of forest land, 69000 mu of grassland, 69700 mu of saline alkali land and 64800 mu of marsh water. Its population is 8059 (2010). There are 3 management areas, 12 operation areas, 1 Street office and 15 natural villages. The comprehensive management of agriculture, animal husbandry, industry and Commerce in the farm area, the farm economy is mainly agriculture, supplemented by industry.

Natural conditions

Qiqihar breeding site is located at 124 & ordm; 4'27 "E, 47 & ordm; 18'25" n, altitude 146-149 m, belonging to temperate continental climate, which is the lower limit of the first accumulated temperature zone in our province, with an average rainfall of 560 mm, frost free period of 130 days or so, and effective accumulated temperature of 2500-2700 ℃. The terrain of the site is flat, which is a typical plain landform.

Agriculture:

With high-efficiency crops and cash crops as the main crops, the characteristic production pattern of rice and corn in the east of the farm and fruits and vegetables in the west of the farm has been formed. The main varieties of fruit tree cultivation are: Jihong, Jisheng, Changli 15, Suiji 3, wanhuang and other plum varieties; K9, Huangsha, Huangtaiping, Longguan and other small apple varieties; rose fragrance, baimanai, Jufeng, Tizi and other grape varieties. Vegetable varieties mainly include eggplant, cucumber, beans, tomatoes, and leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are produced out of season in the shed, which extends the product supply cycle. The rice, fruits and vegetables produced by the farm are welcomed by the public for their green, organic, high quality and delicious. It is an important agricultural and sideline products supply base in Qiqihar city.

Animal Husbandry:

Animal husbandry is the leading industry since the establishment of our farm, which is mainly engaged in the breeding of cows, pigs, broilers and geese. There are 7500 high-quality dairy cows, 22000 tons of fresh milk per year, 23000 pigs per year, 2.6 million broilers and 50000 geese in the farm. It has become the largest production and supply base of livestock and poultry products in Qiqihar.

At present, there are 220 industrial and commercial service households and 240 large automobiles. The industrial system mainly consists of feed, building materials, mineral water and processing of agricultural and animal husbandry products, the transportation system mainly consists of auto parts repair and distribution transportation, and the service system mainly consists of catering, accommodation and retail of general merchandise.
