Erhe Township

Two Hejian, a city of Wuchang City, Harbin, Heilongjiang, is located in the northern part of Wuchang City. It is connected with the east of Chi and Guang township. The south is opposite to the river of Wei country and the hometown of the security. The west is adjacent to the back River town, and the north is eight yuan Zi Township. In 2018, the area was 317.1 square kilometers and the registered residence population was 19394.

During the Republic of China, it was the Fifth District of Wuchang county. During the period of the Northeast occupied by the Japanese, it belonged to the Wuchang Fort joint protection. In March 1960, it was incorporated into the two communes of Weiguo and Changbao. In 1963, erdaohezi commune was established. In February 1984, it was changed into Erhe township. As of October 2019, Erhe township has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

In 2018, Erhe township has 9 industrial enterprises and 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

During the Republic of China, it was the Fifth District of Wuchang county.

During the period of the Northeast occupied by the Japanese, it belonged to the Wuchang Fort joint protection.

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (August 1937), erdaohezi and sandaohezi were set up.

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (January 1940), Erhe village was established.

In 1945, it was divided into Changpu and Weiguo districts.

In March 1956, it belonged to Erhe, Sanhe and Chapeng.

In 1958, it was merged into erdaohezi commune.

In March 1960, it was incorporated into the two communes of Weiguo and Changbao.

In 1963, erdaohezi commune was established.

In February 1984, it was changed into Erhe township.

By the end of 2011, Erhe Township had seven villagers' committees, including Erhe, Sihe, Sanhe, Yumin, Xinzhuang, Shuanghe and Qingfeng, and 36 villagers' groups.

As of October 2019, Erhe township has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

Erhe Township, located in the north of Wuchang City, is connected with Zhiguang Township in the East, Weiguo Township and Anjiang Township across the river in the south, beiyinhe town in the West and Bajiazi Township in the north, covering an area of 317.1 square kilometers.
