Namu Township
Namu Township, belonging to Shuangliao City, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the Songliao plain, southwest of Shuangliao City. It faces Zhengjiatun town in the East, Jinbaotun town in kezuohou banner in the South and West, and Menda town and Bayantala town in KeZuoZhong banner in the north. The area is 210.21 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Na Mu township was 21403.
In January 1956, it was changed to namus Mongolian township. In September 1958, it belonged to the Mongolian administrative area of namus in Zhengjiatun commune. In March 1963, the Mongolian commune of namus was established. In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In May 2000, Jianshe township was incorporated. As of June 2020, Namu township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.

In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Horqin tribe of Mongolia.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the left wing middle and rear banners among the six banners of Horqin.
In 1913, Liaoyuan Prefecture was changed into a county.
In January 1956, it was changed to namus Mongolian township.
In September 1958, it belonged to the Mongolian administrative area of namus in Zhengjiatun commune.
In March 1963, the Mongolian commune of namus was established.
In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In May 2000, Jianshe township was incorporated.
