Huajiao Township

Huajiao Township, belonging to Huadian City, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Huadian City, bordering badaohezi Town, huashulinzi Township and Jinsha Township in the north, Gongji Township across Huifa River in the East, Jingyu and Huinan County in the south, Jiangnan Township and Hulan town in Panshi City in the southwest and West. It is 1 km away from the residence of Huadian municipal government, covering an area of 707.44 square kilometers.

In 1908, Huajiao Township belonged to Bowen society; in 1949, Huajiao township was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in HuJiao township was 46463. As of June 2020, Huajiao village has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located 100 meters east of Huadian railway station.

History of construction

Huajiao township was named because it was once located in the suburb of Huadian county.

Qing Guangxu 34 years (1908), belong to Bowen society.

In 1935, it belonged to the puppet Manchu area. In May 1946, Fuxing town was established. In 1947, it was a district (Chengguan).

In 1949, Huajiao township was set up, which is a suburb.

In November 2005, beitaizi was merged into Huajiao township.

In May 2010, sumigou township was merged into Huajiao township.
