Beigoumenzi Township
The north ditch Township, which belongs to Chaoyang County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning, is located in the northwest of Chaoyang County. The East and west five family Zi Township and Longcheng district town are located at the foot of the Mount Daqing. The West and southwest are adjacent to some village groups under the Jia Jia Dian farm and Yang Shu Wan Township, with an area of 100.49 square kilometers. In 1947, it belonged to jiajiadian operation area in Chaoyang County. In September 1958, two small townships were canceled and one commune was established. In 1985, the commune was transformed into a township. As of June 2020, beigoumenzi has jurisdiction over five administrative villages.
In 2018, beigoumenzi Township had 5 industrial enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1947, it belonged to jiajiadian operation area in Chaoyang County.
In February 1956, Chaoyang County removed the district to build a township, which established two small townships: Goumenzi Township with goumen village as the residence and Fangshen Township with huazhangzi village as the residence.
In September 1958, two small townships were canceled and one commune was established.
In 1985, the commune was transformed into a township.

Beigoumenzi Township River belongs to the tiger mountain basin. It originates at the foot of Laohushan mountain, Sijiazi Town, Aohan banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and runs through the township for more than 20 kilometers from north to south. It leaves the country through jiajiadian and yangshuwan townships to Daling River. Hundreds of other valleys are seasonal rivers.

After liberation, because the township government is located in goumen, it is called Goumenzi township. In 1982, because of the double name of goumen Township in Lingyuan City, the word "North" was added.
