Xilonghuyu town

Xilonghuyu town is located in the east of Jizhou District, Tianjin city, on the East Bank of Yuqiao reservoir, adjacent to zhouhewan town in the west, chutouling town in the north, 35 km away from Zunhua City in the East and 15 km away from Yutian County in the south. The total area of the town is < I > 43.22 < / I > square kilometers, with a permanent population of 26907 (2017), and 17 administrative villages. East Reservoir Road, South Reservoir Road, Zunyu highway and Daqin Railway run through the territory, and the traffic is very convenient.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name xilonghuyu town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

In 1996, it covers an area of 55 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages including LongQian, Longbei, Nanjiazhuang, nanzhangsihe, Liuguanzhuang, nanwangjiazhuang, lujiayu, xiaoliuzhuang, xilonghuyu, caisanzhuang, cailaozhuang, caierzhuang, yangezhuang, cangshanzhuang, houzhangsihe and lujiaohe.

In 2001, xilonghuyu township was abolished and xilonghuyu town was established. After the establishment of the town, the resident of the town government remained unchanged.

In 2019, wubaihu town will be abolished, and the former Dongtou Baihu village of wubaihu town will be transferred to xilonghuyu town.

The historical and cultural heritage of xilonghuyu town is profound. The allusion of "Dou Yanshan, a righteous prescription, teaches five sons, and is well-known" in the Three Character Classic comes from LongQian village in the territory. Kuai Che, a famous lobbyist in the Western Han Dynasty, became a monk in Liuguanzhuang village.
