Shangcang town

Jizhou District governs towns. It is located in the south of the area. It has jurisdiction over 41 administrative villages. The town government is located in Gezhuang village of houqin, 15 kilometers away from the urban area. Jinji railway, Jinwei highway, Jibao highway, Cangsang highway transit. The town has 21000 mu of land, 22 administrative villages and 32271 permanent residents (2017). In agriculture, the ratio of grain to cash crops is 2:1. In terms of industry, there are 14 town and village enterprises, including 6 town run enterprises with 3500 employees, and more than 1000 individual businesses developed on the basis of small town construction. In 1997, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the town was 204 million yuan, the gross national product was 70 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 3200 yuan.

Historical evolution

In 1983, it belonged to shangcang Township and dongtazhuang Township respectively.

On December 29, 1994, with the approval of the municipal government, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau agreed to abolish shangcang Township and establish shangcang town.

In 1996, shangcang town covers an area of 18 square kilometers and has a population of 20000. It has jurisdiction over 22 villages, including gaojiatao, Liugezhuang, Niantou, liangzhuangzi, nanwangzhuang, lizhaozhuang, cangqianzhuang, nanminzhuang, Tiangezhuang, nanliulitun, dongjigezhuang, dajigezhuang, xijigezhuang, dongguojiazhuang, xiguojiazhuang, houqingezhuang, dongqiaotou, zhengjiatao, nansungezhuang, xiaoliuzhuang, panzhuangzi and fuxingzhuang Administrative village: dongtazhuang Township covers an area of 17 square kilometers and has a population of 16000. It governs 19 administrative villages including dongtazhuang, baying, gaojiazhuang, beiwangzhuangzi, Zhangjiazhuang, Chi'an, chengjiazhuang, duozhuangzi, dingzhuangzi, dongcaijiazhuang, Erwangzhuang, huawo, Baimiao, yushaotun, Xiaoliu, xiangshuiwo, Chenqiao, huangdizhuang and Hexi Town.

On March 10, 1997, with the approval of the municipal government, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau agreed to abolish dongtazhuang Township and establish dongtazhuang town.

In 2001, dongtazhuang town was abolished and merged into shangcang town. The office of the town government was located in the former site of shangcang town government.

Agriculture

A breakthrough has been made in the adjustment of agricultural structure. In terms of planting industry, the total area of cash crops in the town has reached 22000 mu, and the proportion of grain to economy has reached 2.3:1.
