Before 1945, Daxue Street belonged to Daxing village, Jinxian county. On January 31, 2002, Daxue Township and Xuejia street were abolished and Daxue street was merged. As of June 2020, Daxue street has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 14 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 189 Jinyi street.

History of construction

Before 1945, Daxue Street belonged to Daxing village, Jinxian county.

In 1949, the village government was established.

In 1952, it was the Fifth District of Jinzhou City.

In 1958, Daxue township was established.

In 1958, Beijiao commune was established, which belongs to Jinzhou rural work office.

In 1961, Daxue commune was established.

In 1983, the township was changed to daxuetun.

On January 31, 2002, Daxue Township and Xuejia street were abolished and Daxue street was merged.
