Historical evolution

It was established in 1963. In 1997, with an area of 8 square kilometers and a population of 19000, it has jurisdiction over 14 neighborhood committees in Nanshan, Pinghe I, Pinghe II, chemical industry, airport, grain and oil, 1955, nuerhe, Zhongtun, lingsili, Dongguang, Shengli, Xining and nanzhuangli. In 2002, the office was located at No. 24, pingheli, with a population of 29000 and an area of 7.9 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over Nanshan, Xuanyi, chemical, Pinghe, Xining and Shengli communities.
