Wangshi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Haicheng City, connecting Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City in the East, Mafeng town in the southeast and south, Xiangtang management area in the southwest, Haizhou management area and economic and Technological Development Zone in the West, and Nantai town, Ganquan Town and Datun town in Qianshan District in the north, with an administrative area of 160.2 square kilometers.

In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Wangshi township was set up, belonging to Mafeng district; in December 2001, Wangshi and the former two towns of Shisi County merged into Wangshi town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Wang Shi town was 39092. As of June 2020, Wangshi town has one community and 24 administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1947, Wangshi township was established, belonging to Mafeng district.

In April 1961, Wang Shi commune was established.

In February 1988, Wangshi town was built.

In December 2001, Wangshi and the former Shisi county were merged into Wangshi town.
