Tuoshan Township, belonging to Wafangdian City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Wafangdian City, bordering Xiyang Township in the East and North, Fuzhou town in the south, xianyuwan town in the southwest, Bohai and Hongyanhe town in the West. Tuoshan township is named after Luotuoshan in its jurisdiction. From 1958 to 1960, it belonged to Fuzhou commune. In 1961, Fuzhou commune established Tuoshan commune with 13 production teams, including fumiao, Donghu, Caotun and Jintun, Hutun, dingtun, maolanlonghe, Dawei, Dagushan, Paoya, Quanshui and Shuangshan. In 1983, Tuoshan commune was transformed into Tuoshan township. As of June 2020, Tuoshan township has a total of 10 villagers' committees.
