Taiyang street, belonging to Wafangdian City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Wafangdian City. It is adjacent to Delisi town and Zhuhua street in the East, Laohutun town and Gangdian street in the south, Xiyang Township and Fuzhou town in the west, and Yandian Township and Zhaotun Township in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from Wafangdian municipal government, with a maximum distance of 15 kilometers from east to west and 18 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 170.6 square kilometers.

During the period of the Republic of China, it was Fuxian district. In June 1946, Fuxian Taiyang district was established. In 1983, it was changed to Taiyangsheng village. In September 2005, it was changed into sun Street. By the end of 2011, the number of registered residence households in the sun Street was 31947. As of June 2020, Taiyang street has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages. The sub district office is located in NATUN village.
