Zhongchang Street

Original street name. Zhongchang street is located in the center of Jinzhou District, Dalian city. Founded in November 1987, it is located at the West foot of Daheishan, the first peak in southern Liaoning Province. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Jinzhou district. Now it has jurisdiction over 3 administrative villages and 5 communities, covering an area of 12.8 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 32029 (2010).

Zhongchang street is 15km away from Dayaowan Port, 25km away from Dalian old port, 20km away from Dalian Airport, 1.5km away from Jinzhou station, 5km away from Jinzhou District People's government, 6km away from Dalian Free Trade Zone and 25km away from Dalian old urban area. In 2002, it has jurisdiction over four communities including stadium, Huayuan, Jindong road and Changxing Road, and three administrative villages including Zhongchang, Dongfeng and Heping. in December 2019, Zhongchang street and Guangming Street will be abolished and merged into the newly established Guangzhong street.
