San Dong Qiao Street

For the old street name, see Huashan street. The former sandongqiao street is located in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The fourth is: Beiling Street in the East; the railway boundary between Huanggu District, Heping District and Tiexi District in the South; Zhujiang street in the West; middle Kunshan Road in the north. It covers an area of 1.90 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 74625 (2010). Office address: 80 Minjiang street.

Historical evolution

In 1955, four streets, namely, sandongqiao, Kejian, Anmin and ergongqiao, were established. In 1958, they were changed into three communes, namely, sandongqiao, Kejian and Anmin (ergongqiao was merged into Anmin); in 1960, they were merged into sandongqiao commune, and in 1962, they were divided into two communes, sandongqiao and Kunshan. In 1965, Kejian commune was separated from sandongqiao commune, and ergongqiao commune was separated from Kunshan commune. In 1971, erkongqiao commune was abolished and merged into Huanghe, Liaohe and Kunshan communes respectively. in 1978, it was changed into three streets. In 1996,

San Dong Qiao Street

It covers an area of 1.3 square kilometers and has a population of 15000. It governs nine neighborhood committees: Huacheng, Huaxing, Xinghui, anying, Shuncheng, Xiuming, Yangming, Anfu and Houdi;

Kunshan Street

With an area of 6.9 square kilometers and a population of 45000, it has jurisdiction over 31 neighborhood committees and its office is located in middle Kunshan Road;

Kejian Street

With an area of 4.6 square kilometers and a population of 14000, it has jurisdiction over nine neighborhood committees. In 2002, sandongqiao sub district office was located at No. 30, Buyunshan Road, with a population of 18500 people and an area of 0.34 square kilometers, and governed Shuncheng, Huacheng, Xinghua and Houdi communities; Kejian sub district office was located at No. 4, Lane 22, Keshan Road, with a population of 14400 people and an area of 0.60 square kilometers, and governed Xinglong, Chuangxin and Shengli communities. In 2007, sandangqiao street, Kunshan street and Kejian street were merged to form a new sandangqiao street. The fourth is: Beiling Street in the East; the railway boundary between Huanggu District, Heping District and Tiexi District in the South; Zhujiang street in the West; middle Kunshan Road in the north. It covers an area of 1.90 square kilometers and has a total population of 79600. It governs 10 communities and its office is located at 73-5 Zhujiang Street (approved as 80 Minjiang street in 2007). in 2019, San Dongqiao Street will be abolished and the former administrative jurisdiction of San Dongqiao Street will be merged into Huashan street. Huashan Street office will be moved from No. 61 Buyunshan Road, Huanggu District to No. 69 Buyunshan Road, Huanggu District.
