Hongshaba Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fengzhen City, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Fengzhen City, adjacent to longshengzhuang town in the East, Nancheng street in the south, sanyiquan town in the west, and tuguiwula town in Chahar Right Wing Front Banner in the north, with an administrative area of 362.83 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Northwest Township of fengzhenting; in February 1984, hongshaba commune was changed into township; in July 2001, hongshaba and Jiulongwan were merged into hongshaba town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of red sand dam was 15724. As of June 2020, hongshaba town has nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in hongshaba town was 5229 yuan. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in hongshaba Town, one of which was above scale, and four comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of fengzhenting Township in the northwest.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was the third district of Fengzhen county.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to three official villages.
In April 1958, shibatai township was established.
In March 1962, hongshaba commune was established.
In February 1984, hongshaba commune was transformed into a township.
In July 2001, two townships of hongshaba and Jiulongwan were merged into hongshaba town.
