Dabaizhuang town

Dabaizhuang Town, located in the south of Baodi District, Tianjin, is 45 kilometers away from Baodi city. It connects niujiapai Town, Zhouliang street and Lizigou farm in the north, Erwangzhuang town in the southwest, datangzhuang town in the southeast, chaobaixinhe River in the East and Huangzhuang town in the southwest.

The total area of the town is 81.6 square kilometers. It is the third largest town in the region. It has an area of 122966.4 mu, a population of 15000 and 20 administrative villages. The town is a large agricultural town with less population and more land, mainly planting.

The town government is located in dabaizhuang village.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name dabaizhuang town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

Evolution of organizational system

It got its name from its location. Dabaizhuang village was built in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. It is said that at that time, a foreign military officer with the surname of Bai stationed and settled down in some places, and gradually people attached to him, forming a village. Because the military officer with the surname of Bai had great influence and had a lot of land and money, he was named dabaifangzhuang. Later, the military officer surnamed Bai moved away and changed to dabaizhuang.

In 1947, it belonged to the seventh district of Baodi County. In 1953, it built dabaizhuang Township, changed to commune in 1958, and changed to township in 1983,

The town was built in 1995.

In 2013, dabaizhuang town was abolished and Dabai street was established.

In 2019, the organizational system of dabaizhuang town will be restored.
