Toudaoqiao Town, belonging to Hangjinhou banner, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located at the southernmost end of Hangjinhou banner, adjacent to Linhe District in the East, facing Hangjinhou banner of Ordos City across the Yellow River in the south, Dengkou County in the southwest and Erdaoqiao town in the northwest. It covers an area of 197.31 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in tou Dao Qiao was 24141.

In 1942, it belonged to Micang county. In 1953, it belonged to Hangjinhou banner. In 2001, Huanghe town and toudaoqiao town were merged into toudaoqiao town. In 2005, Yonghong, No1 and NO2 villages in Chagan Township were included in toudaoqiao town. As of June 2020, toudaoqiao town has jurisdiction over 1 community, 11 administrative villages and the residents committee of the town people's government at the station.

In 2018, toudaoqiao town has 11 industrial enterprises and 46 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1942, it belonged to Micang county.

In 1953, it belonged to Hangjinhou banner.

In 1958, it belonged to Erdaoqiao commune.

In 1961, toudaoqiao branch was established.

In 1984, the society changed to the countryside.

In 1976, the Yellow River production brigade of toudaoqiao commune set up the Yellow River commune, and later changed to Huanghe town.

In 2001, Huanghe town and toudaoqiao town were merged into toudaoqiao town.

In 2005, Yonghong, No1 and NO2 villages in Chagan Township were included in toudaoqiao town.
