Shihahe town

Shihahe Town, subordinate to Wulate Middle Banner of Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Wulate Middle Banner, adjacent to Guyang County of Baotou City in the East, Wulate Front Banner in the south, Delingshan town in the southwest, Xinhure Sumu in the northwest, and dahanmaoming'an United banner in Baotou City in the northeast. It covers an area of 1831.37 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Shi ha he town was 24916.

In 1950, Shihahe district was set up in Wulate Houqi. In November 1958, Shihahe district was transformed into a commune. In March 1962, there were four communes, Shihahe, shuangshengmei, Gaobei and chulutu. In September 1984, all the four communes were changed to townships. In April 2001, the four townships were merged into Shihahe town. As of June 2020, Shihahe town has jurisdiction over one community and nine administrative villages, and its people's government is located in gerichulu.

In 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises in Shihahe Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1950, Shihahe district was set up in Wulate Houqi.

In October 1952, after the amalgamation of the two banners, one village of Wulate Middle Banner, two townships of Anbei county and two townships of Guyang county were assigned to Shihahe district.

In November 1958, Shihahe district was transformed into a commune.

In March 1962, there were four communes, Shihahe, shuangshengmei, Gaobei and chulutu.

In September 1984, all the four communes were changed to townships.

In April 2001, the four townships were merged into Shihahe town.

Shihahe town is located in the ridge of high platform ridge at the northern foot of Yinshan Mountain, with high terrain in the East and low terrain in the West.
