Tawen Aobao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner, adjacent to tengke town and Bayan Ewenki ethnic township in the East, xivartu town in the southeast and south, kuruqi town in the southwest and West, and NOMIN town in the Oroqen Autonomous Banner in the West and North, with an administrative area of 1267.53 square meters Square kilometers.

History of construction

In June 1975, tawen Aobao management area was established.

In November 1977, it was changed to tawen Aobao commune.

In November 1984, it was changed to Aobao township of tawen.

In April 1997, it was changed to Aobao town in tawen.

In June 2006, woluohe township was merged into the city.

Tawen Aobao town is located in the south of Daxing'an Mountains, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. The terrain is shallow hills. The main peaks are deriskaole, tawenaoboguowudu, cheerchedava, chuwanshan and sharaole.
