Houhe town is located in Changge City, Henan Province, at the foot of yumaixing mountain in the east foot of Funiu Mountain. It is the only mountainous town in Changge City, with Xinzheng in the north and Yuzhou in the West. It is one of the central connecting points of Zheng Xu integration, with a total area of 44.4 square kilometers and 39000 mu of cultivated land.

In October 2019, Houhe town was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.
