Jingshan
Jingshan is located in the west of Hubei Province, about 150 kilometers long, with an altitude of 1200-1800 meters. The main peak of Jingshan, Julong mountain, is 1852 meters above sea level. Juhe, Zhanghe and manhe, tributaries of the Yangtze River, originate from this mountain.
Geology and geomorphology
The geological structure belongs to the Yangtze paraplatform, which is composed of limestone and belongs to the Yanshan uplift fold belt. It is a strong rising neotectonic movement area. This area is located in the contact zone of several tectonic units. The north and South segments are both strong folds and complex faults, but the north segment is closely folded and mostly overthrust faults; the south segment is slightly gentle and mainly massive faults. In terms of landform, the Northwest has high mountains and deep valleys, towering and steep, with vertical and horizontal gullies; the southeast has low mountains and valleys, gentle slopes and slightly open slopes, but they are all karst medium and low mountains. Most of the mountains are long and narrow, and the top of the mountain is about the same height. Karst funnel (karst bucket) and karst depression are developed on the top of the mountain, belonging to the original karst form.

Rice is planted in the valley plain and corn and potato are planted in the slope. There are tea farm, forest farm, medicine farm and so on. the mineral deposits include phosphorus, coal, iron, etc. Phosphate rock has been developed and used as fertilizer.
