Ordos high tech Industrial Park is a science and technology park planned and constructed in accordance with the national high tech Development Zone standards in May 2011 to drive the transformation and upgrading of regional industries and promote the development of high tech industries. It was approved as an autonomous regional high tech Development Zone in October 2011. The park is located in the middle of the central city, with a planning area of 120 square kilometers.
