Jurihe Town, belonging to Zhalute banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Zhalute banner, bordering wurigentala farm in the East, Lubei town in the south, gerichao lusumu town in the West and bayartu Hushu town in the north. The area is 648.1 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 29740.
In December 1951, the people's Government of the western district changed the name of julihei (today's Jurihe town) to juliheinutuk (District) office. In August 1956, Zhalute banner was divided into three townships, and julihe office was renamed julihe township. In August 1958, the Management Committee of julihe commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into Jurihe town. As of June 2020, Jurihe town has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
By the end of 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in Jurihe town and 94 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In September 1946, the CPC Committee of Zhalute banner was established.
In March 1947, the Committee of Zhalute banner moved to northern Shandong.
In December 1951, the people's Government of the western district changed the name of julihei (today's Jurihe town) to juliheinutuk (District) office.
In August 1956, Zhalute banner was divided into three townships, and julihe office was renamed julihe township.
In August 1958, the Management Committee of julihe commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed into the people's Government of Jurihe town. At the same time, some villages in the north were set up as Lianhe town.
In 2006, Lianhe town was merged into Jurihe town.

Jurihe town has a temperate semi-arid continental climate. It is characterized by four distinct seasons, dry and windy in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool in autumn and large temperature difference between day and night, and long and cold in winter.
