Deyuan Street

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Chengdu to adjust the administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District (cfzm [2019] No. 24): Deyuan town was abolished and Deyuan street was established. The administrative area of Deyuan street was the administrative area of Deyuan Town, and Deyuan Street office was located at No. 78 Xingde street.

brief introduction

Deyuan street belongs to Pidu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It's said that Dayu passed through here to control the flood. He dug seven wells to relieve the drought of the common people. Later generations remembered his kindness and set up a temple to offer sacrifices. It's called Dayu temple. Deyuan Street (formerly known as Deyuan town), also known as Jingrong Town, is located in the South Gate of Pidu District, Chengdu City, with high tech West District in the East, Wenjiang District in the South and Youai street and Pitong street in the northwest. It covers an area of 30.7 square kilometers, including 8 square kilometers of urban planning area (2.7 square miles).

There are four administrative villages in Deyuan street, with superior geographical location, adjacent to Wenjiang guosetian tourist attraction, and close to the planned Fifth Ring Road.
