Yihegong Town, belonging to Wengniute Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wengniute Banner, bordering Guangdegong town in the East and Southeast, Songshan District in the South and southwest, Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County in Chengde City, Hebei Province in the west, and Keshiketeng Banner in the Northwest and North. The people's government is stationed in yihegong village. The administrative area of yihegong town is 981.28 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of the billion town was 40246.

After liberation, it was the Sixth District of Wudan county. In 1956, after the merger of Weng and Wuqi counties, the township was divided into yihegong, touduandi, wujiayingzi and yangshugoumen. In 1958, the four townships were merged into Yihe commune. In 1984, touduandi and yangshugoumen were designated and rebuilt into yihegong township. In 2006, yihegong Township, touduandi Township and yangshugoumen Township were merged into yihegong town. In June 2020, yihegong town governs one community and 22 administrative villages.

Yihegong town is located in Tongdian mountain at the head of shaolang River and yangchangzi river. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The terrain can be divided into three categories. The north of shaolang river is the alpine mountain zone, the south of shaolang river is the low and gentle mountain zone, and the narrow and long zones on both sides of shaolang River and yangchangzi River are about one Li wide, which are formed by river alluvial. The main peaks are miaozigou Meiyao mountain, hanpaozihou Aobao mountain, shuidi Heishan, yangshugoumen Erlong mountain, etc. the highest point is 1100 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is 500 meters above sea level.

The rivers in yihegong town belong to shaolang River and yangchangzi River, both of which are the source of Laoha river. From xiahabaqi to sangcaigoumen, shaolang river flows through yangshugoumen village, Laofu village, yihegong village and beitaizi village, with a length of 60 kilometers and a drainage area of 90 square kilometers. It dried up in 1989. From julongchang to tieyiying, yangchangzi river flows through Shangfu village, wujiaying village, sujiaying village, lianghou village, Pengdian village, shuidi village and peifangying village, with a length of 60 km and a drainage area of 80 square kilometers. It was cut off in 2000.
