Kundu town
Kundu Town, belonging to aruhorqin banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north central part of aruhorqin banner, adjacent to saihantalasumu in the East, Xinmin Township, Bayanhua town and saihantalasumu in the south, Bayanhua town and Balinzuoqi in the west, and hansumulasumu in the north. The administrative area of Kundu town is 1462.11 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of Kun town was 8846.
In 1636, the first year of Chongde in Qing Dynasty (1636), after the establishment of Arhorqin banner, the first zasak muzhang to the fourteenth zasak wangqinpari's residence was built in Kundu. Kundu town is located in the southeast of Daxing'an Mountains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. It inclines from northwest to Southeast. The terrain in the West belongs to half mountain and half hill area, and in the east there are many sand dunes, aeolian sand soil and meadow soil. Hanwula mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is 1358.1 meters above sea level; denggengachatalingole, the lowest point, is only 300 meters above sea level, with a difference of 1058.1 meters.
hydrology
Wusenyihe lake, the main river in Kundu Town, originated from wusenyihe spring eye of Hanwula mountain. Along the way, it intersects with spring eye in the east of Yangzi, with a total length of 112.5km, and its downstream is called oumulun river. Hunitunor (Lake) is located 11 kilometers northeast of the town government, with an area of 0.66 square kilometers and a depth of 2 meters.
