Jiepai Town

Jiepai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengyang County, Hengyang County, Hunan Province, is located in the northeast of Hengyang County, bordering on yilou Peak National Forest Park in the East, yilou Township in the south, Zhajiang town and Shishi Township in the west, Maji town in Hengshan County in the north, with an administrative area of 98.94 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town of 34228 had been recorded.

In October 1949, it belonged to the eighth District of Hengyang County. In July 1952, it belongs to the fourteenth district. In March 1953, Jiepai Town was established. In September 1958, it belonged to Qianjin and Chaomei people's commune. In 1984, Jiepai Town was restored. In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Guoqing township was merged into Jiepai Town. As of June 2020, Jiepai Town has 4 communities and 12 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jiepai Town was 1.348 million yuan, an increase of 7.6% over the previous year. The general budget revenue was 3.219 million yuan, an increase of 23.8% over the previous year. From the perspective of main taxes, business tax is 1.639 million yuan, personal income tax is 1.318 million yuan, value-added tax is 5.2 million yuan, and enterprise income tax is 480 thousand yuan. In 2018, there were 69 industrial enterprises in Jiepai Town, including 17 large-scale enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it was a town of happiness.

In October 1949, it belonged to the eighth District of Hengyang County.

In July 1952, it belongs to the fourteenth district.

In March 1953, Jiepai Town was established.

In September 1958, it belonged to Qianjin and Chaomei people's commune.

In 1984, Jiepai Town was restored.

As of June 2020, Jiepai Town has four communities: guihuatai community, Daxing community, Hongxing community and wanglongtai community, 12 administrative villages: Yinxi village, Jiepai village, Panlong village, Zaoji village, Gongsheng village, Guoqing village, Baixiang village, Xiangshan village, Jiejiang village, Shangta village, Liangdong village and Jiangjun village, and the people's Government of Jiepai Town is stationed at No. 188, North Cicheng Road, Changfeng community.

Jiepai Town is located in the northeast of Hengyang County, bordering on yilou Peak National Forest Park in the East, yilou Township in the south, Zhajiang town and Shishi Township in the west, Maji town in Hengshan County in the north, with an administrative area of 98.94 square kilometers.

Every night on the seventh day of the second lunar month is a carnival night for the residents of Jiepai Town. Every family, men and women, young and old, devote themselves to this folk activity. Shoufo Tuomeng people in Shengshou Temple played with lanterns to eliminate the disaster. So people organized to play with lanterns.
