Goumen town

Goumen Town, belonging to tumed Right Banner of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of tumed Right Banner, connecting with supogai Township in the East, Salaqi town in the south, Donghe District in the West and Xinjian town of Guyang County in the north. The area is 187.9 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 28873 people registered residence.

In 1958, with the incorporation of Salaqi County into Tumet banner, the commune belonged to the sun commune. In April 1959, the sun commune was renamed Salaqi commune. In September 1961, goumen commune was set up from Salaqi commune. In September 1984, goumen commune was changed into goumen township. In April 2001, goumen township was changed into goumen town. In June 2020, goumen town governs 2 communities and 13 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 71 industrial enterprises in goumen Town, including 21 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 53 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, it was one of the Tumet tribes, where the Manchu government and the Manchu government were stationed.

In the Qing Dynasty, villages were formed. The Mongolian nationality was under the jurisdiction of 6 A of Tumet right wing banner, and the Han nationality was under the jurisdiction of BEIXIANG of salaqiting.

In 1914, the Mongolian nationality was under the jurisdiction of 6 A of Tumet right wing banner, and the Han nationality was under the jurisdiction of the first district of Salaqi county.

In 1938, the Mongolian nationality was under the jurisdiction of the 6th a right wing banner of Tumet, and the Han nationality was under the jurisdiction of Deze Township, Salaqi county.

In 1946, the Mongolian nationality was under the jurisdiction of the sixth autonomous Supervision Office of Tumet special banner, and the Han nationality was under the jurisdiction of Yousan township of Salaqi county.

In March 1954, District 6 of tumed banner was merged into Salaqi County, and the Mongolian and Han people under its jurisdiction were all under the jurisdiction of District 1 of Salaqi county.

In 1956, the township was divided into goumen township.

In 1958, with the incorporation of Salaqi County into Tumet banner, the commune belonged to the sun commune.

In April 1959, the sun commune was renamed Salaqi commune.

In September 1961, goumen commune was set up from Salaqi commune.

In September 1984, goumen commune was changed into goumen township.

In April 2001, goumen township was changed into goumen town. Seven administrative villages in erqinyao Township and gongshanwan Township were transferred to goumen town and managed by Jiufengshan Management Committee.
