Shengang Street

The former Nanhui District Shengang Street (now known as Nanhui new town) was officially established on November 30, 2006. In November 2012, with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's Government (Shanghai Municipal People's government's reply on Approving the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Pudong New Area (Hufu [2012] No. 89)), the organizational system of Shengang street and Luchaogang town was abolished, some administrative divisions of Laogang town were adjusted, and Nanhui District was merged New towns. The former Nanhui District, Shengang street, covers an area of 22 square kilometers, extending to Huanhu Dongyi road in the East, Haigang Avenue in the south, Hucheng Ring Road in the West and Baijing road in the north. It is adjacent to Donghai in the East, Luchaogang town in the West and Shuyuan town in the North.

It is located on the coast of the East China Sea and the estuary of the Yangtze River in the southeast of Shanghai. It is about 75 kilometers away from the center of Shanghai, 32 kilometers away from Yangshan deep water port in the South and 25 kilometers away from Pudong International Airport in the north. The main urban area, with Dishui Lake of 5.6 square kilometers as the center, has launched the pattern of "one lake and three rings", which is in turn the urban life center belt, urban park belt and residential function belt. Responsibilities of the sub district office: 1.
