Yuhua Street

Yuhua street belongs to Yuhuatai District of Nanjing City, located in the north of Yuhuatai District, is the seat of Yuhuatai District Party committee and district government. As of 2015, Yuhua street has 15 communities with an area of 12.16 square kilometers and a population of 95900.

Historical evolution

In September 1958, Yuhuatai commune was established.

In February 1968, Yuhua town Revolutionary Committee was established.

In 1981, it was renamed Yuhua town.

In 1988, Yuhua new village street was established.

In 1996, Yuhua new village has a street area of 2.7 square kilometers and a population of 17000. It has jurisdiction over 10 neighborhood committees of Yuhua new village, including village 1, village 2, village 3, village 4, village 5, Fenghuangshan, Yuntaishan, Jishan, village 1 of dengfushan and village 2 of dengfushan.

On September 1, 2000, Yuhua town was transformed into Ningnan sub district office.

In 2004, Yuhua new village sub district office was located at 153 Pude village, covering an area of 1.32 square kilometers, with a population of 43129. It has jurisdiction over 10 communities, namely, Yuhua new village 13, Yuhua new village 2, Yuhua new village 45, Fenghuangshan, Yuntai Mountain, Jishan, Yuhuatai, Pude village, Nengrenli and dengfushan.

In 2004, Ningnan sub district office was located at No. 59, gongqingtuan Road, which originally belonged to Yuhua town with an area of 11.13 square kilometers and a population of 13573. It has jurisdiction over Kangsheng garden, Dingqiang, huashentemple, Yuhua four communities and Nonghua one administrative village.

In July 2012, Yuhua new village sub district office was cancelled and merged with Ningnan sub district office. The south side of the street, which is located in the south of hongyunningshan village, is zoned into the south side of the former qinghuajishan street and yuhuaningshan road street.
