Meiyuan Xincun Street
Meiyuan Xincun street belongs to Xuanwu District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the south central part of Xuanwu District and is the seat of Xuanwu District Party committee and district government. The main scenic spots are Meiyuan New Village memorial hall, Sun Yat Sen's temporary presidential palace, the former site of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Pilu temple, Central Hotel, etc. In 2012, gongjiaoyicun community to the north of Beijing East Road and taipinghuayuan community to the west of Longpan road of Houzaimen street were put under the jurisdiction of Xuanwumen street. The adjusted meiyuanxincun street and Houzaimen street were merged to establish a new meiyuanxincun street.

Meiyuan New Village street was established in 1967. In 1996, it covers an area of 0.8 square kilometers and has a population of 23000. It has jurisdiction over nine neighborhood committees, namely Meiyuan New Village, Hanfu street, daxinggong, Donghai Road, Zhujiang village, Zhuqiao, huangjiatang, Dabei lane and dahuangcheng lane. In 2004, Meiyuan New Village sub district office was located in No. 62-1, Hanfu new village, with an area of 0.9 square kilometers and a population of 21424, and governed three communities: daxinggong, Meiyuan New Village and Zhujiang village; Lanyuan sub district office was located in No. 85, Yangjia Hutong, with an area of 1.68 square kilometers and a population of 32699, and governed seven communities: Gongjiao village 1, Lanyuan, Wenchang street, Huahongyuan, wendeli village, dayingbi and Jiuhuashan. In January 2005, Lanyuan street was abolished and merged into Meiyuan Xincun street.
Meiyuan New Village
The Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China delegation is a memorial museum of the Chinese revolution. Meiyuan New Village is located at the east end of Changjiang Road, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It was established in 1954 and opened internally since 1960. During the cultural revolution, the original site was closed. In November 1977, it reopened to the outside world. No. 17, No. 30 and No. 35 of Meiyuan New Village were the places where the delegation of the Communist Party of China held peace talks with the Kuomintang government from May 1946 to March 1947. The 30th and 35th are the residences of Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, Li Weihan, Liao Chengzhi, Deng Yingchao and Qian Ying, the organization director of Nanjing Bureau. The 17th is the office of the delegation. There are 1170 pieces of cultural relics in the Memorial Collection, including 100 pieces of first-class collection. In the collection are Mao Zedong's book "transforming our learning", which Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, Liao Chengzhi, Deng Yingchao and others had been reading with them since May 1942, and Zhou Enlai signed it in writing. In 1946, Ye Jianying, Li Kenong and Xu Bing presented Dong Biwu with a copper ink cartridge engraved with preface to Lanting collection, which was engraved with the upper and lower payment. the memorial hall mainly displays the original site, with 163 pictures and 90 pieces of cultural relics. The museum has successively compiled and published such books as the compilation of the negotiation materials of the CPC delegation, the memorabilia of the negotiation of the CPC delegation, and the album of the CPC delegation in Nanjing. The scope of protection: it extends to Hanfu street in the south, 35 meters outside the original site of the CPC delegation office in the north, to the east wall of No. 17 Meiyuan New Village, and to the west wall of the Air Force Logistics Department of Nanjing Military Region.
