Shangji town

Shangji town is located in the suburb of Xichuan County, surrounded by the city on three sides, adjacent to Tianguan township of Xixia County in the East and ximiao township of Neixiang County in the west, separated by Madeng town in the West; adjacent to HUICHE town of Xixia County in the north, Shangji town is a major immigrant town of the south to North Water Diversion Project, the main battlefield of the county's urban construction, the core area of industrial agglomeration, and the main area of the central business district.

The total area of the district is 187 square kilometers (2017), with about 50000 mu of arable land and 173000 mu of barren mountains suitable for forestry.
