Dongjin town is located in the northeast of Gangnan District, Guigang City, facing Wule Township across Yujiang River in the north, Batang town in the west, Dawan town in Guiping City in the East, and Gaofeng town in Xingye County in the south. It is 44 km away from the urban land and 24 nautical miles by Yujiang river. The water and land transportation is convenient.
