Regional development
According to the survey and statistics of class II resources in 1987, the forest coverage rate was 89%, of which the larch volume was 2410628 cubic meters, accounting for 74.8% of the forest resources in the forest farm. In 1987, the "May 6" fire destroyed 48822 hectares of forest, accounting for 71.1% of the total area. According to the forest resources survey in 2001, the volume is 33478 cubic meters. From 1988 to 1996, the forest farm organized timber silvicultural production in the form of work teams and developed diversified management. In 1996, as a pilot forest farm of reform, it continued to deepen the reform, strengthen the management, and seek benefits from the management, and began to reform the three systems of personnel, wage and labor management.
In April 1999, the boundary of cadres, workers and educated youth was broken. Through the combination of examination and democratic appraisal, the management personnel of the farm organs were reduced from 21 to 7. From 1988 to 2009, a total of 1334298 cubic meters of timber were produced, 4697.79 hectares of reforestation, 8379 hectares of young and strong forest tending, 4320 hectares of artificially promoted regeneration, 5360.67 hectares of forest pest control, 1666.67 hectares of tending before canopy closure, 200 hectares of fast-growing and high-yield forest tending, and 4333.33 hectares of burned land clearing.
