Tieshan Township

Tieshan township is located in the east of Hongjiang City, at the West foot of the core area of Xuefeng mountain (in the first step zone of Xuefeng Mountain). There are mountains on the mountain, with many peaks overlapping. Shangrui Expressway (Shao Huai Expressway) and huaishao Heng railway pass through, and the famous Xuefeng Mountain tunnel enters in its territory.

It is adjacent to Dacong Township in the East, Xuefeng town in the south, Bamianshan farm in the west, Tangwan Township in the north, more than 30 li away from Anjiang Town, and 82 km away from the city of Guizhou.

The township governs 13 administrative villages, including Tieshan, liangzhuwan, Lengxi, Changtan, yuanjiaxi, plateau, Daduan, Shuikoushan, Xiaoxi, shenjiapo, Gaoqiao, xiangjiatian and heliping, with 114 villager groups and a total population of 8281 (2017).

It is 15.15 km long from north to South and 12.14 km wide from east to west, with a total area of 107 square kilometers (2017). Natural characteristics

The terrain is plain and hilly area. It is located in subtropical monsoon humid climate with mild climate, four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 16.3 ℃ and the annual precipitation is 1527.2 mm. 6 mu of arable land, 141226 mu of forest land, 70% of forest coverage, 300000 cubic meters of standing trees, especially rich in water resources, 25 small and medium-sized power stations have been built, with a total installed capacity of 10700 kilowatts, 2 small type II reservoirs, and a total water storage capacity of 260000 cubic meters. Rich in mineral resources, the main mineral resources are gold, copper, scheelite, iron, kaolin and so on.

Major industries

In recent years, based on the advantages of abundant hydropower resources, the township has actively attracted investment and invigorated the small hydropower development industry. It has built 24 small hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 10700 kW. In the adjustment of agricultural structure, we should speed up the pace of agricultural structure adjustment, promote the planting area of high-quality and efficient agricultural products, vigorously develop the fruit industry, seedling industry, vegetable industry and aquaculture industry, plant 3500 Mu seedless watermelon with an output of 15000 tons, 600 mu red bayberry, 400 mu Alpine grape, more than 100 mu oil tea, more than 7200 pigs, 80000 fish and 150000 poultry. The national tax was 83000 yuan, the local tax was 156400 yuan, the township financial revenue was 1967800 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1550 yuan.
