Lishu Township

Lishu township is located in the northeast of Wanyuan City, 17 kilometers away from the city. There is Yuquan mountain scenic spot in the territory. It is connected with Guandu town in the East and south, Shaanxi Province in the north and Piwo Township in the west, covering an area of 94.8 square kilometers. It governs 7 villages and 23 villager groups, with 5680 people (2017). There are 5082 mu of cultivated land, including 1020 mu of farmland. In 2005, the GDP of the whole township was 2.21 million yuan; in 2006, the GDP of the whole township was 5.7 million yuan, and the per capita GDP was 4.22 million yuan.

On June 12, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's government decided to abolish Lishu township.

There are 210 national highway, Guanda highway and Xiangyu railway running through the whole Township, with the village access rate of 100% and the village community opening mileage of 76 km; the mobile and Unicom Network has been opened in Xiangchang town and Yuquan mountain scenic spot, with more than 600 program-controlled telephones installed; the rural household access rate of 100%. The township has implemented the project of "greening, lighting and hardening"; there are one standardized primary school and one health center. the township has vigorously implemented the pig quality project and beef cattle industrialization development project. The planting area of Chinese herbal medicine has reached more than 1500 mu, and 500 mu of flue-cured tobacco has been developed. Focusing on Yuquan mountain scenic spot, the township has developed tourism economy and expanded tourism industry. Yuquan mountain scenic spot is 24 kilometers away from Wanyuan City, covering an area of more than 1000 mu and a construction area of more than 1000 square meters. In the scenic area, there are many peaks, beautiful green cages, clear streams and mountains, and strange caves, integrating natural landscape and cultural landscape. The main scenic spots are: the old Dragon Cave, the Dragon King Temple, the former site of the Red Army sentry, the Red Star Pavilion, the xuanzu hall battle of Wanyuan defense of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army, the new and old site of Xu Qianqian's front command, the viewing Pavilion, the White Dragon Palace, Qifeng, Yuquan, etc. The folk customs of Jinglong temple, lion watching, cave watching, cliff painting enjoying, mountain flowers enjoying in spring, summer avoiding heat, red leaves enjoying in autumn and snow enjoying in winter are popular here. From Lianghekou to Yuquan, it is known as "Shili Gallery" and enjoys a good reputation outside the mountain.
