The construction community was established in July 2001, located in the northwest of Yiwu city. It is located in the old fellow railway line of Zhejiang Jiangxi line, the West Road of the city, the West City Road - the oil depot special railway line, covering an area of 0.8 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of the mountain, building two new villages, gardening new villages, building three villages, Xiu Wo District and Qinghe residential area six residential areas, the total population is about 11000 people, and the average household is 1637 households. There are 5116 residents and 5900 immigrants.

Beiyuan street construction community has 7 members of the two committees, including 3 members of the Party committee, 4 members of the community neighborhood committee, 108 party members, and four party branches. Relying on community party organizations, Party members have actively carried out activities such as helping the poor, pairing, green land adoption, etc., assisted the community in various work, and played a vanguard and exemplary role of Party members. There are 79 enterprises and institutions, including Xiuhu middle school, the key middle school in Zhejiang Province, Xiuhu kindergarten, the first demonstration kindergarten in Yiwu City, agricultural trade city, the national key leading agricultural enterprise, and Yiwu military retired cadres training institute, and 124 self-employed households. There are seven special working committees in the community, including environmental health, comprehensive management, enterprise safety, women's family planning, cultural and sports publicity, social security and civil affairs services. There are convenient service stations, police rooms, health service stations, elderly associations, population schools, parents' schools, libraries, fitness rooms, volunteer service teams and other service institutions. There are two outdoor basketball courts and four elderly activity rooms There are 2 libraries, 5 fitness paths and 2 indoor fitness venues.
