First of all, because there is Qingyuan mountain in the south, it is called "Nanshan" in the world. On the other hand, because the village is located in the south of Shuangyang and is mountainous, it is called "Nanshan". Nanshan District is located here. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was the 41st capital of Jinjiang County, and some villages belonged to 40th capital. During the period of the Republic of China, it was Heshi District of Jinjiang County, xinnanbao. At the beginning of liberation, it was Qiandai Township, the third district of Jinjiang County, and later merged into Chaoyang farming district. After Shuangyang was built in 1960, it began to be called "Nanshan District". There are Nanshan, Nanshan Guiqiao village, Xintian, Baiye, shiziqian, Hushi, Xinwei, Yangpu, guanyuantou, hutiaoqiao ten natural villages. During the period of communization, it once joined Xintian and Xinwei as Xinnan brigade. After receiving overseas Chinese in 1962, it was called Nanshan administrative district.
