Hedong community is located in the center of Xixiang street, with a total area of 0.6 square kilometers, which extends to area 49 of Xin'an street in the East, Baoan Avenue in the south, Xixiang River in the West and national highway 107 in the north. The community residents mainly moved into the area in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. At the end of 2011, there were 930 registered residence residents and 20 thousand temporary residents. In 1996, Hedong Village was separated from Xixiang Village in Xixiang township. After urbanization in 2004, it was changed into Hedong community (residents committee) in Xixiang street.

Community construction

There are 8 members in the "two committees" of the community party branch and neighborhood committee, including Wen Zhisen, Secretary of the Party branch, Xian Weihua, director of the neighborhood committee, and Wen Zhisen, chairman of the joint stock cooperative company. Eight of them also hold the posts of "two committees" of the community and the joint stock cooperative company. At present, there are 32 registered party members in the community.
The community has the cultural characteristics of Xingshi and Wenzong, and belongs to the provincial "Liuhao" community or similar prominent honor. The community is located beside the 107 national highway, with convenient transportation.

Business structure

At the end of 2011, the total assets of Hedong joint stock cooperative company was 450 million yuan, the total income was 45 million yuan, the number of shareholders was 680, and the per capita dividend was 20000 yuan. There are 190 enterprises in the area (including 3 Foreign-funded enterprises, 2 "three to one compensation" enterprises and 185 private enterprises), mainly for commercial and light processing industries, with an industrial plant and commercial area of 200000 square meters.
There is a kindergarten with 15 teachers and 300 students in the community, a social health center with 6 medical staff, and a square park with an area of 6000 square meters.
