Hongxing community was founded in November 2003. It is named Hongxing community because its office is located in Hongxing community, Guyang town. The community is located in the south of the county, with Guyang Town Bridge in the East, armed squadron in the south, tea refining factory in the West and diaoshan ridge in the north. Provincial Highway s229 runs through the whole territory, Chacheng road runs through the north and south, and Guyang road and gushuang road connect the East and West, which is the transportation hub. There are 4 resident groups, 964 households and 3397 people in the community, 2 primary and secondary schools, and 15 Administrative Enterprises and institutions directly under the county government, such as the County Public Security Bureau, the court, the Finance Bureau and the water supply company.

Hongxing community in the community is a model development zone for poverty alleviation Guzhang in Changde City. It is a comprehensive private economic community integrating tourism, shopping, accommodation, catering, leisure and entertainment. It is the central area connecting Zhangjiajie and Yongshun in the north and Jishou and Fenghuang in the south. Changde street, 595 meters long and 24 meters wide, is the largest stone pedestrian street in Western Hunan. There are many tall buildings on both sides of the street, which is the best residential area of Guzhang. There are large hotels such as Jinshui and Hongshilin, leisure and entertainment shopping places such as Mingxiang building and nongjianvhuazhuang, activity places such as County Youth extracurricular activity center, private organizations such as Qingyunshan tea factory and yantouzhai tea factory, and large trading markets such as Hongxing farmers' market. In recent years, the community has seized the opportunity of counterpart poverty alleviation in Changde, made great efforts to prepare for the construction of exhibition center, vigorously built a tea culture street, actively strengthened external publicity, and worked hard to build a platform to publicize tea town and tea culture. Up to now, its main project has been completed. After completion, it will become a window to show the charm of Guzhang and promote tea town and tea culture.
