Bagan Township
Bagan Township, subordinate to qumalai County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the east of qumalai County, adjacent to zhadoo town of Chengduo County in the East, Zhiduo County in the South bounded by Tongtian River in the south, yegai town in the West and Qiuzhi Township in the northwest, about 100 kilometers away from the county. The area is 1908.2 square kilometers. In 2018, 5538 people registered residence.
Bagan Township originally belonged to Zhiduo county. In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of qumalai county. When Tianhe county was founded in 1969, it was under the jurisdiction of Tianhe county and renamed bagan commune. In 1962, Tianhe county was abolished and put under the jurisdiction of qumalai county. In 1984, it was renamed bagan township. As of October 2019, bagan township has three animal husbandry committees.
In 2018, bagan township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Bagan Township originally belonged to Zhiduo county.
In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of qumalai county.
When Tianhe county was founded in 1969, it was under the jurisdiction of Tianhe county and renamed bagan commune.
In 1962, Tianhe county was abolished and put under the jurisdiction of qumalai county.
In 1984, it was renamed bagan township.
