Hongguang community is located between the Strait science and Technology Park and the new urban area. It is the Golden Port of the Industrial Development Zone, and also a hot investment place for enterprises and businesses. Covering an area of 1.13 square kilometers, the district has five resident groups, 32 villagers' representatives, 395 permanent residents, 1200 residents and 30 CPC members. Basic overview

Hongguang community was founded in November 2001, with an area of 1.8 square kilometers and six natural villages. There are more than 1900 permanent and mobile households with a population of more than 5000. The community residents are mainly composed of employees, non employees and their family members of the first smelter, general chemical plant, construction group, shipping company and transportation company. There are 126 community party members, 669 elderly people over 60 years old, 94 disabled people and 198 households enjoying minimum living allowance.
