Yonghong community is located in the central area of Shengli Street, Shashi District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, with Hongmen road in the East, Jianghan Road in the west, Hangkong road in the north and Beijing Road in the south. It covers an area of 0.31 square kilometers. There are 53 resident groups.

Community profile

The community is divided into 53 groups of administrative resident groups, with a total number of 3192 households, 2674 regular households, 518 floating households, a total number of 8919 people, 8059 permanent residents and 860 floating population. There are 6 units under the jurisdiction, including passenger transport center, science and Technology Information Bureau, Jinyuan Hotel, 135 Hotel, Xinsheng industrial and commercial office and Xinsheng community. Yonghong Community Party committee has three general Party branches, 179 registered party members and 54 in-service party members. The community always adheres to the principles of self-management, self-education, self-service and self supervision, and serves the residents wholeheartedly. The community pays attention to the work of both software and hardware. In the hardware work, the community has newly purchased computers, air conditioners, printers and other equipment, built the public column of Housing Affairs, formulated slogans on the wall, established and improved the working system of community party building, and put them on the wall. In terms of software, we should strengthen the refinement and filing of software work, print all kinds of records and accounts, and bind them into volumes, which greatly improves the standard construction of the community. Strive to solve problems for residents and provide good services. In the activities of building a harmonious community, we actively coordinate the relevant departments to contact up and down, treat both the symptoms and the root causes, jointly help solve the difficulties encountered by the masses in production and life, and put the idea of serving the people wholeheartedly into action, so that the masses can really get tangible benefits.

Community work

The community negotiated with Jingtong property and industrial and commercial office to dredge more than 1000 meters of sewers and clear more than 10 health dead spots. In addition, we have kept in touch with a number of units, supermarkets, hotels and hotels under our jurisdiction to find jobs for 72 laid-off and unemployed people under our jurisdiction. We have also provided minimum living security for 137 extremely poor families in the community, provided low-cost housing for 8 families with minimum living security, provided housing rental subsidies for 2 families, and provided assistance for 6 families with serious illness, so that they have received timely assistance . In dealing with the work of minimum living security, we adhere to the principles of openness, fairness and justice, and put an end to the principle of minimum living security. In the work, as always, the difficulties and hot issues encountered in people's life will be the focus of the work. We should actively carry out transposition thinking, shorten the distance between us and the masses, and set up a bond between our hearts. When the work has achieved certain results and the masses are satisfied, we will be greatly gratified. This is also the driving force to promote the development of community work. In 2007, the two-level family planning departments in the urban area conducted a comprehensive inspection on us. There was no missing report or wrong report on the birth situation in the community, no case of unplanned pregnancy or childbirth; there was no missing registration of floating population, and the application rate and verification rate reached the standard. The overall work has been affirmed by the two levels of departments, and has been awarded the honorary title of top ten communities in Shashi District.
