Yongfeng Township
Yongfeng Township, subordinate to Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwest of Xingguo County, adjacent to Butou Township and Longkou town in the East, Tiancun Township and Bailu Township in Ganxian District in the south, juncun Township in the west, Longping Township and Gaoxing town in the north. The total land area of the township is 161 square kilometers. The township government is located in yongfengwei, 17 kilometers away from the county and 14 kilometers away from Xingguo station. Yongfeng Township governs 17 administrative villages and 233 villager groups. In late 2018, Yongfeng had 42 thousand and 600 registered residence population.
Yongfeng Township's main industries are Camellia oleifera, navel orange, honey pear, rice seed production, pig, beef cattle, duck, chicken, etc. The main income sources of the masses are from farming and migrant workers. Historical evolution
In 1930, Heling Township, which belonged to four districts (dahechang), Lanxi Township, which belonged to five districts (Gaoxing), Yongfeng, Lingyuan and Houjing Township, which belonged to ten districts (Yongfeng); in 1933, ten districts were under the jurisdiction of Yangyin County; in 1935, they were returned to Xingguo County; before liberation, they belonged to Jiangyuan and Longping Township, which belonged to Xingguo County.
At the beginning of liberation, Yongfeng, Heling, Xijiang, shebei and Zhufang townships in Butou district and Longping Township in juncun district were merged into three townships of Yongfeng, Longping and Zhufang in 1957; in 1958, Yongfeng commune and Longping commune were established; in 1960, Yongfeng commune and Longping commune were merged into Yongfeng commune; in 1961, Yongfeng commune was divided into Yongfeng commune, Longping commune and Zhufang commune. In 1965, Zhufang commune was merged into Yongfeng commune; in 1968, Longping commune was merged into Yongfeng commune; in 1984, the township was established and changed to township.

History and culture
The origin of place names
In the third year of Xianfeng (1853) of the Qing Dynasty, people of ten surnames raised money to build a Polder on the beach opposite the current site. Later, they moved to Yongfeng polder, which means that the terrain is called "lotus leaves cover turtles" and is named after the long cherished wish of eternal prosperity.
cultural relics and historic sites
Yanggang site, located in yanggangling, MALIANG village, covers an area of 70000 square meters. It was discovered in 1982. There are stone arch, axe, stone, red pottery with sand, gray pottery and hard pottery. In the east of the site, there is an impression pottery kiln, in the north, there are three semi cave sites and one Tomb of Pinggu County Magistrate. On August 30, 1983, the people's Government of the county designated it as a cultural relics protection unit of the county.
Yaopengbei Tomb of Han Dynasty is located in Chashi village. To the east of yaopengbei site, it is a brick chamber tomb with a short corridor from west to East. Only the bottom and part of the wall are left. The tomb is built with blue pattern bricks.
Wanglvting, built in October 1988 in Haoxi village, 2km southeast of yongfengxu, covers an area of 30 square meters. It was donated by Shu Guangcai, a veteran cadre of the long march in Haoxi village and a former member of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Advisory Committee. He personally wrote a couplet on both sides of the pavilion: "in those days, the workers and peasants rose up to cover the red and float a flag, and for this day, they still ploughed heavily on pines and cypresses, and looked at the green and dry hills.".

Firecrackers have a long history of production, and the process includes pushing, loading basin, applying medicine, knitting and so on. Products are large, medium and small models, the township concentrated in Chashi, Haoxi, Guoxi, Shanglong, Jiaoxi and other villages, products marketing inside and outside the county.
